While researching Schuyler’s music in the Schuyler Family Papers at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in NYC, I came across a surprising number of rare musical scores by other composers in the boxes simply labelled “annotated compositions by others”, without any other information. From what I’ve been able to discern through WorldCat searches, many of these seem to have extremely limited or nonexistent availability at libraries worldwide. In order to try to help other researchers locate these, I’m posting my list (with box numbers) here. The lists are arranged in the order the scores appear within each box.
